Detailed information

Properties

If you buy Antibodies supplied by Bioworld they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.Precipitation of Chromatins is a pull down technique of native DNA sequences by specific binding proteins on which on the other side of the protein the antibody can bind. Lots of antibodies are not suited for Chip analysis pulldown because they bind on the binding site of the DNA. The Bioworld antibody is proven to not bind on the DNA binding site and is suitable for ChiP precipitation supplied in 1 vials.

About

Polyclonals can be used for Western blot, immunohistochemistry on frozen slices or parrafin fixed tissues. The advantage is that there are more epitopes available in a polyclonal antiserum to detect the proteins than in monoclonal sera.

Alternative Name

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UHRF1; Nuclear protein 95; Nuclear zinc finger protein Np95; HuNp95; hNp95; RING finger protein 106; Transcription factor ICBP90; hUHRF1; ICBP90; NP95; RNF106

Purification&Purity

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage&Stability

Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
