GENTAUR offers a wide variety of crosslinked polystyrene particles: non-uniform, uniform shape, and porous crosslinked polystyrene. The cheaper non-uniform particles are useful in the cases when the shape of the particles is of no importance to the application. If you need perfectly spherical monosized polymer particles, we recomend the use of the 0.5% DVB cross-linked polystyrene particles. Uniform cross-linked polystyrene particles that are stable in the presence of organic solvents are also supplied by GENTAUR. If you need additional surface area then the recomended particles are the porous crosslinked beads. Cross-linked polystyrene particles of larger sizes are also available on request.
These particles can be used for calibration with BD FACSes like FACSCalibur, FACSCanto, Beckman Coulter Flow Cytometer, Becton Dickinson FACScan, Becton Dickinson Flow Cytometers, Miltenyi cytometer, Millipore Flow Cytometers and Millipore Guava.
